Attorneys

Laura Blumenstiel is an attorney who cares about each client's well being, and works to make sure that they understand the legal process, what's happening and what it means to them.  Ms. Blumenstiel is a straight forward communicator, who strives to avoid "legalese" (the use of complicated legal terminology) preferring to prepare documents and communicate with her clients in a way that they understand each step in their case, and why they should take it.
 
"I want my clients to be active participants in the process, understanding all of their options clearly, so that they feel comfortable with what we're doing.  Many times people are uncomfortable considering their own mortality, and find it difficult to balance the issues at hand with the dynamics and relationships within the family.   I take a genuine interest in my client's lives and tend to wear their cases on my sleeve."
 
Outside of her practice, Laura's attention is usually focused on her family attending her daughters' soccer games or dance recitals, making chalk drawings on the driveway, taking family walks or attending "tea parties" at night with her little girls.  "My husband is a great Italian chef and is learning to prepare more of the vegetarian recipes I enjoy."   Laura enjoys working on family projects around the house, is active in animal rescue and is an avid Ohio State football fan.
